Minerva Mentors are leading professional women at the top of their field – Board Directors, C-Suite or equivalent across other industry sectors – who mentor Minerva Athletes on the challenges of developing a professional career on and off the field. A background in sport is not a requirement, nor do you need particular knowledge about your mentee’s sport. All time spent in the Minerva Network is on a probono basis.
Adapt as necessary to act as an advisor, supporter, coach and sponsor for the Minerva Athlete to achieve their goals.
Over a 12-month period, agreement to five mentoring sessions with your mentee. These may be a mix of face-to-face and other forms of communication e.g. video call.
Details of the mentor relationship or personal details must not be shared unless that is specifically agreed.
Have the best interests of the Minerva Athletes at heart; there are no egos here.
For both their sport and business goals, whether through social media (with permission), invitations to events, or introductions to others.
