Ros is nib’s Group Executive Legal and Chief Risk Officer, with responsibility for the Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Governance function of the nib Group in Australia and its global operations. She is also General Counsel and Company Secretary of the nib Group.
As the Executive responsible for Sustainability, Community and Clinical, Ros is committed to fostering healthy futures for nib’s customers, employees, shareholders and the communities in which nib operates, to help drive nib’s purpose of people enjoying better health and wellbeing.
A key part of Ros’ remit, and a central part of nib’s sustainability agenda, is a growing focus on better outcomes for communities that experience gaps in access to healthcare. nib’s population health work, led by Ros, applies the theory of what we learn at an individual level to larger populations. We believe health is where nib can have the greatest impact in helping drive change.
Ros is also the Champion of nib’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and is committed to delivering on nib’s reconciliation commitments.
Ros holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Honours), a Bachelor of Laws as well as Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies and Applied Corporate Governance. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Ros is a director of the nib foundation and a mentor for the Minerva Network.
