Peta is a change maker and community leader in the Entrepreneurial landscape and brings 20+ years’ experience in Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Communications. Peta launched and exited four ventures before turning 30.
As former CEO of leading Innovation Hub River City Labs, she led the organisation through a rapid growth phase from 2012-2017 resulting in an acquisition by National Industry Association for ICT, The Australian Computer Society. The merger involved managing a national expansion in 2018/19 into NSW and Victoria.
In the last 8 years she has mentored over 1000 entrepreneurs and hosted more than 2000 startup events, launching the River City Labs Accelerator which saw 34 companies graduate over 4 cohorts.
As founder of EverydayEntrepreneur365, she shares her experience in the innovation sector and knowledge within the acquisition space and the unique challenges companies face when merging brands, cultures and people. She has led teams through periods of change and challenging business situations and knows the importance of clear communication, structured work environments and how to unlock various personalities to optimise output.
