Leilani Frew

With a career spanning over 25 years, Leilani is a respected and experienced infrastructure finance and advisory professional having held a number of governance and leadership positions in both the private and public sectors.  

Leilani is currently the Audit and Risk Committee Chair and Board member of the North East Link State Tolling Corporation and Deputy Secretary, Financial and Commercial, NZ Treasury.  

Her other recent public sector roles include CEO of the Commonwealth Government's Infrastructure and Project Financing Agency and leader of Executive Director, NSW Treasury advising Governments on major infrastructure projects and serving on a number of Government advisory boards and committees.  Before her public service career, Leilani held senior positions in Moelis, RBS, ABN AMRO and Commonwealth Bank working with public and private sector organisations to acquire, divest and/or raise capital for infrastructure assets around the world.  Her contribution to the infrastructure industry was recognised by her peers in 2015 when she received the Women’s Achievement in Infrastructure Award from IPA.

Leilani enjoys mentoring emerging female leaders and is passionate about supporting grassroots rugby union for girls and Pacifica youth.
