Kate Corkery

Kate is a trusted and experienced problem solver, facilitator and management consultant. She is an experienced executive professional in C-suite roles which are critical to safe, just and resilient communities including legal support in First Nations communities, public prosecutor, lawyer at the Australian Sport Anti-Doping Authority and Senior Executive at the Australian Sports Commission leading capability building and inclusion for the Australian sport sector. Kate chaired Judo Australia for 5 years, is an experienced company Director currently on the Board of AUSactive and is Vice President of the International Judo Federation and President of the Oceania Judo Federation.

An admitted solicitor and accredited mediator she is nationally and internationally recognised as a leader and trailblazer in sport governance including leading the National co design of the Sport Governance Principles and Standards, publishing articles, public speaking and advising with respect to organisational culture, governance reform and strategic transformation.

Kate's reputation is for achieving outstanding financial results, governance improvement, staff engagement and for being an inspiring leader.
