Jessica Anstiss

Jess Anstiss is a young star on the rise in Australian Netball. The local WA product was born and raised in the WA netball world, her mum being a regular state and national representative. Jess grew up playing in Kalamunda and the Southern regions of WA Netball, supported by her school – the Darling Range Sports College. In her inaugural year in the Suncorp Netball Competition, Jess achieved the remarkable feat of winning the Fever’s MVP. This “star on the rise” was also selected in the Samsung Australian Diamonds Squad for 2018/19. On the court, a determined and combative mid-courter, who’s flexibility to play all 3 mid court positions makes her a valuable asset, off the court Jess is a personable, grounded athlete who spends a great deal of time with her huge and close knit family.Jess’s family connections see her work with the Rett’s Syndrome Awareness campaign – a debilitating and challenging disorder that afflicts one of her young cousins. Off the court, Jess has a Bachelor of Science (Exercise, Sport and Rehabilitation) and currently works in the field as a strength and condition coach for the West Coast Eagles AFLW team.
