Jane is a leading engineering executive and has vast experience in navigating her career in balance with elite sport.
A registered professional senior engineer and the Client Leader for international engineering, design and advisory organisation, Aurecon’s Transport sector in New South Wales, Jane has recently transitioned from leading the fast-growing Newcastle and the Hunter Valley’s operations.
She is a recognised project manager for major infrastructure projects, as well as a business leader, and was awarded the Australian Financial Review’s BOSS Young Executive of the Year in 2018.
Jane keeps busy outside of her engineering career and is a Director of Water Polo Australia, holding the athlete representative role as Chair of the Athletes Commission.
She competed at the 2012 London Olympic Games where she won bronze in water polo and has been the recipient of some fantastic structured mentoring programs through her sporting life, balancing with her professional career and the transition in between. As such she is really excited to give back and to help support female athlete’s the way that she was supported.
