Jamieson Leeson

Jamieson Leeson is a 20 year old Paralympian in the sport of boccia, where she is currently second in the world. She was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy at 18 months old and competes in the BC3 classification in both the individual and pairs events.

Jamieson started her boccia journey in 2018 where she was scouted at a school competition. Her career developed quickly and she began representing Australia in 2019, where she became the youngest person to represent Australia in boccia at the age of 16.

Since competing at her first Paralympics in Tokyo 2020, Jamieson has continued to smash her goals in the world championships and world cup events bringing home multiple medals. Some of her greatest achievements are placing second at the world championships in the individual event in 2022 and becoming the world number one in the pairs event with her teammate Daniel Michel, who have been undefeated in this event since the Tokyo Paralympics.
