Gillian is an accomplished engineering and project management professional with over 15 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams across Australia, New
Zealand, Middle East, Southeast Asia and Ireland. She currently leads Aurecon's Buildings team for the WA region, responsible for the development and implementation of strategy with a focus on successful commercial outcomes.
Gillian has been a board member at RugbyWA since 2019, where she is a strong voice for female participation in the sport. Gillian also chairs the Commercial Services Advisory Committee (CSAC) which monitors and develops commercial opportunities for RugbyWA.
Gillian is an active volunteer, dedicating her time to several organizations promoting female participation in sports. She serves as an advisor to Women in Sport WA and mentors elite female athletes through the Minerva network. Gillian
previously held the position of vice chair of Engineers Australia Women in Engineering Committee, where she worked to promote gender diversity and inclusion in the engineering profession. She is also active in the Irish community having served on the Irish Club and St Patricks Day parade committees.
Gillian is a highly driven individual with a keen interest in building sustainable pathwaysin sport. Her passion, leadership, and experience make her a valuable asset to the Board and a positive force in promoting sports and gender diversity and inclusion in sport and business.
