Caitlin Foord

Already boasting 60 caps for her country at 23, Caitlin Foord is one of Australian football’s brightest talents.  Born on the beaches of Shellharbour in Sydney’s south coast, Caitlin shot to fame in 2011 when she represented The Matildas at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup aged just 16.  Caitlin was named both the tournament’s Best Young Player and the AFC Player of the Year in 2011 – the first Australian to win both awards.  A shining light in the Matildas’ rise to prominence, she was named AFC Player of the Year again in 2016. With two W-League Premierships to her name and a host of appearances in America’s NWSL and Japan’s L.League, Foord has cemented herself as a star of the game and is now based in the UK playing for Arsenal.
