Annette Edmondson

Annette has represented Australia as a Cyclist at the London/Rio/Tokyo Olympics and Glasgow/Brisbane Commonwealth Games.

Born in Adelaide and "chosen" for cycling through a Talent ID program in South Australia when she was 12 years old. Annette started out as a track sprint cyclist, went to Junior Worlds and transitioned to track endurance in 2010. She competed at the London Olympics in 2012 (bronze).

Annette signed her first "professional" road contract in 2013 for $0. Raced track and road for the next 8 years, competing at the 2016 and 2020 Olympics along the way. Annette holds 3 World Titles and 2 Commonwealth Games Titles.

Off the track, Annette has started up a Sports Management business aimed at helping female riders become professional, achieve their best, increase their salaries and set themselves up for life after sport. Annette is also the Assistant Race Director of the Santos Tour Down Under.
