Minerva Network officially launches Victorian Chapter

It was a red letter day for the Minerva Network on 29 September 2020, as we welcomed the powerhouses of Victorian Business and Sport to formally launch our Victorian Chapter via webinar.

After officially introducing the Victorian Chapter co-leads, Kate Palmer AM and Peggy O’Neal AO, the incredible group of women in our new chapter were treated to an insightful panel discussion with Melanie Jones OAM, Dr Bridie O’Donnell and Alisa Camplin-Warner.

Camplin-Warner, an Olympic Champion and Company Director, shared with the group how key mentorships have helped shape her life on and off the slopes: “The biggest thing that mentors have given me is the chance to see the bigger picture, but also to listen to my gut. Mentorship has been invaluable to my personal and professional life.”

Minerva Network co-founder Sam Mostyn summed up the launch perfectly: “There has been a missing piece of our story to date and it has been Victoria, the sporting capital of the world in so many respects. We are so delighted to open today with a sense of great hope for our future with our Victorian female athletes.”
