Tain Drinkwater is an accomplished sports executive with more than two decades of leadership experience, having successfully led organisations through growth, transformation and cultural change across elite sport and industry. Most recently, she served as Chief Executive Officer of the Newcastle Jets, leading the Club through a historic period of success while strengthening its long-term sustainability, performance culture and connection to the community.
Her career has included executive leadership roles with the National Rugby League, Netball NSW and the Brisbane Broncos, where she played a key role in the establishment of the National Rugby League Women's competition. Throughout her career, Tain has been a passionate advocate for creating pathways that enable athletes, particularly women and girls, to realise their potential both during and beyond their sporting careers.
She is proud to lead the Minerva Network and continue its important work supporting sportswomen to thrive in sport, business and life.
