Sophie Garbin is a Western Australian-born netballer who made her National Netball League debut with the NSW Swifts in 2018.She came through the Western Australian Netball pathway and was picked up by the NSW Swifts at the end of 2017.Sophie grew up in country WA and moved to Perth at the age of 13, when she found her passion for netball.She competed in her first National Netball Championships when she was 15, and went through to compete at Under 17, Under 19 and Under 21 National Netball Championships.Sophie was all nationally recognised at all of these championships, which earnt her a spot in the underage Australian Netball Squads.Sophie is currently playing for the NSW Swifts in the 2018 Suncorp Super Netball league, and is hoping to find herself in the Australian Diamonds in years to come.
