Sharni Webb is an inaugural AFLW player for the Brisbane Lions and a HPE and Geography Teacher, as well as Year Level Coordinator at an All Boys Catholic School.
Previously vice captain of the Lions, she took a year off football to give birth to her first child Billie. Upon return to AFLW, she decided to step away from leadership to focus on her return to play and balance that with becoming a new mum.
Sharni aspires to prove that you can manage work and sport, all while being a present and involved parent. She aims to pursue further leadership roles in the future as a teacher and is also passionate about wellbeing and life long learning. Interests outside of football and teaching include indoor plants, being out in nature, reading and being with friends and family.
