Shannon Eagland

In 2009 Shannon took up a scholarship at the Australian Institute of Sport. That same year the 18 year old she was selected to represent Australia at the World Youth Cup winning a gold medal. After two years at the AIS, Shannon signed with the Queensland Firebirds for one season followed by the Melbourne Vixens. After standout performance in the Australian Netball League, Shannon signed with West Coast Fever, only to have her season cut short by an ACL injury in round 4. In 2017, Shannon was recognised for her leadership ability through her ACL rehab and was named in the West Coast Fever leadership group, where the team made their first Grand Final in the Clubs history.Off the court, Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Teaching. She currently works in High Performance Sport at the University of Western Australia.
