Sarah Cook OLY

Sarah is a two-time Olympian for Rowing and former international Sailor, and since retiring from competitive sport has built a career in sport.

From roles in coaching, education, governance, broadcast and more recently administration and management, Sarah is committed to developing and growing sport at a national and international level. Sarah is a passionate advocate for gender equality in sport, and through her current roles as CEO at Rowing Australia and a member of the World Rowing Council is working and advocating for positive change.

Sarah has completed a degree in Applied Science: Human Biology at the University of Canberra, a postgraduate degree in Education (Secondary) from the University of New England, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course.

In 2015 Sarah was recognised as one of the Westpac & Financial Review 100 Women of Influence in the Young Leaders category. In 2019 she received a Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of New England, and in 2022 was inducted into the University of Canberra Sporting Walk of Fame.
