A current NRLW player for the Newcastle Knights. Previous sporting accolades include representing the NZ Kiwi Ferns at two Rugby League World Cups, an inaugural member of the winning Sky Blues State of Origin team in 2018, having also played for Brisbane Broncos, Parramatta Eels and Sydney Roosters. Nita has been playing in the NRLW competition since the induction of the competition in 2018.
Apart from Rugby League, Nia has also represented the Wallaroos and Australian 7s team in Rugby Union. Outside of sport she has a 10 year old daughter London Maynard and is a fiancé to her partner of 7 years Jack Perrin.
Nita works at the RLPA as a women's operation manager and has a small speed and agility business.
