Meg Ward

Meg Ward was born in Gosford, NSW before moving to Queensland at 2yrs old.

Having inherited her competitive nature from her Dad, Meg played soccer until she was 19 and moved to Rugby Union. After joining the defence force and being posted to Tindal RAAF Base, she discovered a love of Rugby League, playing for Northern Sharks in Darwin and representing the NT Titans.

While representing theNT Titans at The CAS Competition in Adelaide, Meg was invited me to a Jillaroos training camp by head coach Brad Donald.

Soon after, she wore her first international jersey at PMXlll's in PNG, before being selected into the Jillaroos 2017 World Cup Squad. For the past 3 years Meg has represented the Brisbane Broncos in the NRLW competition and Queensland in the State of Origin in 2018 and 2019.

Meg's family are her number one supporters and her reason for everything she does. She feels she was born to play sports and has loved playing a variety of sport her entire life.
