Lucy is currently the highest ranked female climber in Oceanic lead sport climbing competitions. She has been competing in sport climbing since 2007, and is part of the Australian Open Climbing team.Lucy has been the Lead Climbing Oceanic Champion since 2013, and from 2015 to 2018 she represented Australia in both Lead and Boulder disciplines at multiple World Cups. She also represented Australia at the World Championships in 2016 and 2018 as well as the World Games in 2017.This year, Lucy plans to compete in the majority of International Lead, Boulder and Speed Climbing World Cups and other major international sport climbing events held around the world, including the World Championships in Tokyo in August. Her short term goal is the qualifying event for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.Lucy loves every aspect of climbing and finding new ways to challenge herself with different places, harder climbs, and on natural rock. She trains 5 days a week, pushing her body to its limits every single session.
