Linda Muir

Linda Muir is an experienced business and governance professional having worked in roles across both government and corporate organisations, and has over 25 years’ experience at all levels of the Australian Sport Sector. Linda is presently leading a national sector capability project at Sport Integrity Australia while on secondment from the Australian Sports Commission where she has worked for 13 years. In that time she has led a range of programs across sport business, strategy development, capability building, workforce development, diversity and inclusion.

Linda has held several board directorships and is currently President of one of the largest basketball clubs in the ACT, the Ginninderra Rats. She is a former elite athlete having been an Australian Institute of Sport Scholarship Holder, competed at FIBA U21 World Basketball Championships and 10 seasons in the Women’s National Basketball League. Additionally, Linda has extensive media experience commentating on basketball across both television and radio, including the FIBA World Women’s Basketball Championships.

Linda is an Alumni of University of South Australia (UniSA) and UniSA’s Women in MBA (WiMBA) Scholarship Program, has attained the Master of Business Administration and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Linda is passionate about helping professional women in sport to soar by leveraging her knowledge, qualifications and experience.
