Originally from Blayney NSW, Laura has been fortunate to travel to all corners of the world, pursuing opportunities within volleyball. Laura started playing volleyball at the age of 14 and has since gone on to captain the NSW senior women's team, played professionally in Europe since 2019, and is in her second year of representing the Australian Women's volleyball team, the Volleyroos.
Before her career expanded internationally, Laura studied a Bachelor of Exercise Science (Rehabilitation), and a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy and has been working in the allied health industry since 2017, complementing her volleyball commitments.
Laura is a positive, consistent hard worker and loves connecting and supporting those she works with on and off the court. She is interested in public relations and communication, as well as elevating the sport of volleyball within Australia. She is eager to explore opportunities within these areas as her career progresses.
