Kim Green

It was clear that Kim Green had a bright future when she was selected in the NSW Swifts team as a 15 year old. In 2008 the ANZ Championship Kim secured herself a regular starting role with the newly formed NSW Swifts. They went on to win the inaugural ANZ Championship and Kim gained her reputation as one of the most formidable mid-court players in the tournament. Selection in the Australian Diamond’s Test Team followed with her debut on the on the 17th September 2008 against the New Zealand Silver Ferns. Kim was a member of the Diamonds who won gold medals at the 2011 World Netball Championships in Singapore, the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the 2015 World Cup in Sydney.  Her accolades include being named as 2014 Trans-Tasman Netball League co-MVP, being named in the 2014-16 Trans-Tasman Netball League All-Stars Team, and being selected as the 2013-14 NSW Swifts’ QBE Most Valued Player and also the 2011-14 NSW Swifts Members’ Player of the Year.Her leadership resume is impressive: NSW Swifts Co-Captain (2012-13), Australian Diamonds Vice-Captain (2013 & 2014), NSW Swifts Captain (2014-16), Australian Diamonds Captain (England Series in 2014) and Giants Netball Captain (2017-2019).Kim recently retired from elite netball after three seasons with GWS Giants in the Suncorp Super Netball competition. She set up a netball fitness business with former Giants teammate Sarah Wall and has developed a netball travel and mentoring program where the NETFIT Team take selected girls in LA and Hawaii to experience an elite netball tour.

Kim is now a regular commentator on Fox Sports Super Netball coverage, a partner at Athletic Ventures and lives in Sydney with husband Trent and her children Lennon and James.
