Karina has played Rugby League at the elite level for 12 years, including 9 State of Origin campaigns for Queensland and was the inaugural QLD State of Origin Captain in 2018. Karina is a 2 x World Cup winner, 4 x Premiership winner and founding member of 2 x BHP Premiership teams: The Burleigh Bears and Easts Tigers. Karina is a 3 x NRLW player for Sydney Roosters, NZ Warriors and currently the Gold Coast Titans.
Off the field, Karina works full time in a corporate sales role. She has a passion for forging a path for the next generation of women by speaking up about issues of inequalities within sport and society. Karina recently co-write and co-produced a song called "She's Got Confidence" which speaks to present day female athletes and acknowledges the courage it takes to pave the path of opportunity.
