Julie is a founder and joint Managing Partner of Derwent in Perth and has extensive experience in recruitment and talent management within the Western Australian market. This includes leading the recruitment of Board appointments along with CEO and Executive level mandates.
Julie’s focus is on building high performance teams that enable her clients to deliver on current and future strategic challenges. Julie works closely with Boards and Chief Executive Officers to understand the strategic mandate and current capabilities of their teams. Julie assists organisations to focus on what is required and help navigate her clients to consider both existing talent pools and those that are “new and different”. Julie’s deep knowledge across a range of sectors in the Western Australian business community enables her to connect her clients with high calibre, impactful talent who empower transformational change.
Prior to Derwent, Julie supported the establishment of Michael Page in Perth following a successful early career in senior finance position in healthcare, resources, oil and gas and professional services in London and Perth. Julie is a Chartered Accountant and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors
