Prior to commencing her business career, Julia was an Australian representative in Rowing, competing at the 2000 and 2004 Olympics, and winning two World Championships in Women's Four and Eight. Our Women's Four was awarded Australian Team of the Year in 2001.
Julia is a lover of all sports, and has also competed and won medals at national level in Cycling, Ocean Paddling (age group) and Surf Life-Saving (age group). Julia is currently the NSW delegate for the Australian Olympians Association and has also been selected as one of three Olympians to support the Australian athletes at the upcoming Paris Olympics.
Post retiring from Rowing, Julia commenced her business career in Transaction Advisory at Ernst & Young (EY) in Paris. After 10 years at EY Paris and Sydney, she transferred to Business Management and Project Management at Allan Hall Business Advisors, before moving to Aware Super, in the role of Senior Business Manager to the Chief Operating Officer.
Julia is passionate about leading with positivity and collaboration and mentoring staff to tap into and achieve their full potential.
