Irena Hyde

Irena is a proven leader uniquely experienced in a variety of industries with a demonstrated capacity to drive and successfully embed change through empowering people, whilst sustaining positive investment returns and meeting business objectives. Her qualifications include an MBA(Monash University Dean’s list) ,Law and Commerce degrees(University of QLD), she is a CPA and a member of AHRI. She has held executive and senior management  positions with Deloitte, Minter Ellison, IOOF, Hill & Knowlton and Nexia Australia. Irena’s sector experience includes corporate and professional services, financial services, public relations and education. Irena has also run her own management consulting company whilst juggling a family of three children. Her functional expertise has been across all shared services(as a Chief Operating Officer/General Manager and Management Consultant) being Human Resources, Financial, Marketing/PR, IT, Process reengineering and Facilities Management . Irena is a Change Manager who is keen to drive high performance whilst bringing people together through alignment of culture and business objectives . Being of a Russian refugee family background, she never underestimates the value of education, hard work and persistence and as a result , the essence of people development.

Irena is passionate about excellence and outcomes and has mentored many people over her career. She has previously been a Non-Executive Director of Methodist Ladies College, the largest private girls school in Australia ,on a Monash University Advisory Committee, An Advisor to the Hush Foundation and on the Australian Chamber Orchestra Advisory Committee. She is passionate about the performing arts, all sport generally and the mentoring /development of people in all walks of life ( especially young people).She has two call signs being - Close the loop and Carpe Diem.
