Cleo Kenny

Cleo Kenny was born in Perth Western Australia and has a passion for both education and sport. Her journey for sport began in 2009 when she first joined the Attadale Netball Club at 6 years old where she ignited a passion that led to lifelong friendships and the development of values that shape her life today.

Through dedication and hard work, Cleo  progressed through the club and association pathway and eventually found herself as a key player for the Western Roar Netball Club in the WA State Netball League. The pinnacle of her netball career came in 2022 when her team secured the Grand Final victory, and she showcased her skills as a Grand Finalist in both 2021 and 2023. She made her mark in the Western Australian pathway, earning her place on the U12 and the U15 School Girls Team in 2018.

This was just the beginning, as she continued to excel and was selected for the U17 and U19 WA State Netball Teams in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. she captained the WA side in 2022 where she showcased her ability to lead and inspire others. Her exceptional abilities and dedication led to her being chosen for both the U17 and U19 Australian squads, a testament to her commitment to the sport.

In 2023 Cleo reached another milestone when she was selected for the West Coast Fever Reserve Team gaining invaluable experience and knowledge from seasoned athletes.

Beyond her achievements on the netball court, Cleo is also a scholar. She graduated from Santa Maria College in 2021 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, majoring in Financial Planning and Finance, at Curtin University. This dual pursuit of excellence in sports and academics demonstrates Cleo's dedication and her ability to balance her passion for netball with her commitment to education.
