Christine McLoughlin AM, Chairman and Co-Founder of the Minerva Network, is a highly respected company director with an executive career spanning 25 years in financial services leadership positions. She is also Chairman of the Suncorp Group, one of the country’s largest financial services companies, Director of Cochlear Limited and a member of Chief Executive Women.
Ms McLoughlin was the Chancellor of the University of Wollongong and the Australian private sector representative to the G20 EMPOWER Council, which focused on the empowerment and progression of women’s economic representation across the globe during 2020-2021.
Having grown up in a regional community, Christine is a passionate advocate for community inclusion and sport. Christine and her Minerva Network Co-Founders all share the interest of seeing our prominent women athletes thrive on and off the field.
Christine prides herself on establishing strong stakeholder relationships and is recognised for her achievements in bringing people together to address issues relating to education, health and technology.
In June 2021, Christine was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for her services to business, the not-for-profit sector.
