Christine McLoughlin, the Chairman and Co-Founder of the Minerva Network, is a highly respected company director with an executive career spanning 25 years in financial services leadership positions. She is also the Chairman of Suncorp Group, one of the country’s largest insurance companies, Chancellor of the University of Wollongong, a Director of Cochlear Limited, a Director of Venues NSW and a Director of the McGrath Foundation.
Having grown up in a regional community, Christine is a passionate advocate for community inclusion and sport. Christine and her Co-Founders all share the interest of seeing our prominent female athletes thrive on and off the field.
Christine prides herself on establishing strong stakeholder relationships and is recognised for her achievements in bringing people together to address issues relating to education, health and technology. In early 2020, Christine was elected Australian private sector representative to the G20 EMPOWER Council, focused on the empowerment and progression of women’s economic representation across the globe as part of the G20. She is also a member of Chief Executive Women and WomenCorporateDirectors.
