Cecilia is a Partner at SEC Newgate and currently heads up the firm’s Melbourne Research Team. She is a senior research, strategy and social policy professional with over 20 years’ experience in leading and achieving outcomes and change across the commercial, government, community and humanitarian sectors through the creation, translation and application of insights and strategy.
She also brings broad experience in her leadership and delivery of organisational strategy, annual planning, and integrated performance reporting; social policy development; program design, innovation and client voice; quality, systems improvement and risk; and internal staff and external stakeholder communications. She has a unique understanding of organisations' needs for and the challenges in applying insights and evidence to inform public policy and strategy, secure funding, program delivery and the execution of communications.
Throughout her career, she has provided advice to Executive teams and Boards on diverse topics spanning sport and active recreation, youth and children, energy, financial services, employment, education, health, humanitarian and community development, homelessness and poverty, family violence.
