Cathy Yuncken is an independent non-executive director with over thirty years executive experience in the financial services industry, and over 13 years board and governance experience across the diversified financial services, superannuation, healthcare, arts and social services sectors.
Cathy is currently Non-Executive Director of State Super (NSW Government), and Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed FleetPartners Group Limited. She is also Managing Director of See Y Pty Ltd, a commercial and financial advisory practice that provides consulting services to government and business clients.
Cathy’s past directorships include Chair of the St George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation, Chair of BT Private Nominees, Executive Director of the Advisory Boards of BankSA and Bank of Melbourne; and Non-Executive Director of Fitted for Work, helping disadvantaged women transition to employment.
Cathy’s executive career included global corporate and investment banking roles at Bank of America and Barclays Capital, and senior commercial leadership roles at GE Capital, Commonwealth Bank’s Institutional Bank, and the multi-brand business banking and private wealth businesses of Westpac Group.
Cathy holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from UNSW, is a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and completed the AICD Chair’s Mentoring Program in 2022.
