Amy is a midcourter for the Giants Netball Team. She started playing netball later than most at the elite level. Instead she was playing a whole range of other sports like athletics, touch football and swimming, only taking up more competitive netball when she was 14.
She ended sticking with netball because she was so inspired by the strong, fearless women and she felt so herself and happy when she was on a netball court. Amy represented NSW and Australia throughout her junior career and was a training partner with the Giants for 2 years before she was elevated into the Giants contracted team of 10 in 2019. She is has also been a part of the Australian Development Squad for the past few years.
When not playing netball Amy is studying a double degree of Law and Communications at UTS. For the past few off seasons she has also been managing aTie Dye Fundraiser to raise money for The Sydney Children's Hospital. With the help of some very special people, the project has raised more than $50,000.
