THANK YOU JANE SPRING AM - WELCOME BELINDA ROWE AS NSW CO-CHAPTER LEAD

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Jane Spring AM, who is stepping down as NSW Co-Chapter Lead. Jane has made an exceptional contribution to Minerva during her time in this role. She has brought deep insight, generosity, and a spirit of collaboration to her position, playing a key role in strengthening Minerva’s strategic relationships, particularly with the University sector, Wheelchair Sports and Rugby Union, amongst others. Jane has also provided invaluable guidance on the design and delivery of programs that best serve the needs of our athlete network.

In her key role, Jane was instrumental in onboarding new mentors and providing guidance to the mentor chapter. Beyond her governance contributions, she has gone above and beyond in representing Minerva across the broader sporting landscape. She has generously given her time to present to several sporting organisations, always bringing a considered and values-driven perspective to the conversation. Her leadership has helped shape the way we think about athlete pathways and the role Minerva can play in enabling success both on and off the field. We are deeply grateful for her time, energy, and commitment.

“It has been an incredible honour to serve as NSW Co-Chapter Lead, and I look forward to continuing to support Minerva in new ways. The work we are doing to empower and elevate women in sport is vital, and I am proud to have been a part of this journey.” – Jane Spring AM

Although stepping down as NSW Co-Chapter Lead, Jane will remain a big part of Minerva and continue to contribute her expertise and passion for our work.

At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Belinda Rowe into the role of NSW Co-Chapter Lead. Belinda has brought deep passion and purpose to Minerva since almost the very beginning, consistently bringing strategic clarity and vision to her involvement. As Chair of the Sports Governance Program, she has played a central role in the development of this recent and welcomed addition to Minerva’s offerings. The program has quickly become an important part of our operational delivery and continues to support the placement of qualified women on sporting boards across Australia.

“I’m excited to step into the role of NSW Co-Chapter Lead and continue the important work of supporting women in sport. Minerva has a unique role to play in bridging the gap and creating pathways for women to thrive in both sport and business, and I’m honoured to be part of that mission.” – Belinda Rowe

Belinda brings extensive experience in C Level executive roles across marketing, digital, sport and the media industry in Global, UK and Australian companies as well as a now a Director on three ASX listed companies and the Sydney Swans. Belinda also created and led a unique global content and sports business with Publicis Media bringing together content, technology, data & digital across 32 markets.

We are delighted to welcome her into this leadership position within the NSW Chapter and look forward to the continued impact she will have as Minerva evolves and grows.
