Minerva NSW recently hosted the “Levelling Up Your Skills” national hybrid webinar workshop, the first in a series covering a range of valuable skills and practices than can help athletes beyond professional sport.  Led by Minerva Legend Kerri Pottharst OAM OLY, this fun and interactive event brought together Minerva Athletes and Mentors from across Australia, blending skill enhancement and networking in a dynamic and accessible format.

Supporting athletes to understand their transferable skills, translate sporting success in other careers, and excelling now and in the future is a key focus for Minerva Network.

The “Levelling Up Your Skills” workshop was carefully crafted to equip athletes with practical tools, inspirational insights and valuable connections.  Kerri Pottharst shared her valuable experiences and provided actionable advice.  Her journey from elite athlete to successful life coach provided a rich source of inspiration for all participants.

Panellists Julia Bell OLY, Rae Anderson PLY and Rebecca McCloy spoke to the importance of mentoring and networking, goal setting, transitioning to new career paths, athlete transferable skills and being open to opportunities.

Webinar and workshop participants engaged in a live, interactive session to grow, evolve, improve and adapt to maximise opportunities and overcome challenges.  Minerva Athletes representing 30 sports pre-registered for this event.

At the networking part of the evening, Minerva launched its new brand video, a key part of the brand strategy, identity, and communications refresh developed with support of communications partner Enigma.

Minerva Network has been proud supporters of Australian sportswomen since 2017, empowering them to soar on and off the field, reaching new heights on the world’s biggest sporting stages and beyond.

Minerva is dedicated to empowering professional sportswomen through continuous learning and networking opportunities.  By creating an inclusive environment, the initiative enabled attendees to share their experiences, learn from one another and expand their professional networks.

Stay tuned for upcoming workshops and networking opportunities.

Minerva NSW extends heartfelt thanks to Snowy Hydro for their generosity in hosting this remarkable event.  Together We Soar!
