Georgie Gotch has been a member of the Australian rowing team since 2011. She found her love for the sport at school when she was 11 years old and has been wholeheartedly consumed with it since.
Her greatest achievements in the sport are; a silver medal in the women’s quad at the Under 23 World Rowing Championships in 2015, reserve at the Rio 2016 Olympic games and a Bronze medal in the women’s eight at the 2018 World Championships. Whist doing this Georgie completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in management at Griffith University.
In 2020-21, Georgie has struggled with a severe back injury that has ultimately prevented her from finishing the season and qualifying for the Olympics
