Gemma Dooley

Gemma Dooley is an experienced investment professional with over 28 years in the financial services industry in Australia and Asia. She is currently the Chief Investment Officer of Club Plus Super (an industry super fund), responsible for managing ~$3.2bill of members assets.

She has held a variety of senior roles with Perpetual Investments, BT Financial Group and Russell Investments, with experience across investment management, marketing, distribution, strategy, risk management and governance.

Gemma grew up in regional NSW and witnessed firsthand the power of sport in uniting communities and promoting social interaction and inclusion. She has been an avid sports person all her life, competing at a high grade level in tennis and hockey, nationally in cricket and indoor cricket, internationally at indoor cricket and is currently a low single figure handicap golfer. She attributes the success in her corporate career to many of the transferable values and life skills that she learnt through sport at all levels.

Gemma is motivated by giving back to the sports community through volunteer roles and spent 7 years to 2020 as a Director on the Board of Golf NSW and is currently a member of the Investment Committee of the Australian Cricketers Association.

Gemma has a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry & Applied Mathematics) from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees.

Gemma is married to Warwick and has three stepchildren.
