Diane Smith-Gander AO has had a varied forty year business career in banking and consulting and now as a non-executive director.
Diane grew up in Perth, Western Australia making her way to retail banking in Australia via consulting in Hong Kong, then running branch networks in Queensland where she first encountered the varied issues of managing lots of people. She spent a lot of time consulting in transformation and post merger management working internationally.
Diane’s current leadership roles are diverse. She chairs ZipCo a fintech disrupter, Perenti a global mining services group, and HBF Health a private health insurer alongside thinktank CEDA.
A keen advocate for gender equity Diane is a past President of Chief Executive Women, Australia’s pre-eminent women’s advocacy group.
